5. Ear, Nose, Throat & Ophthalmology Module includes:

6. Cardiovascular Module covers:

a) Obtaining difficult Intravenous Access

b) Insertion of Arterial Line

c) Central Venous access in Internal Jugular & Femoral veins

d) Intraosseous Access in Peri-Arrest Situations

e) Cardioversions with Vagal Maneuvers

f) Chemical Cardioversion

7. Ultrasound Module for ED Physicians covers a range of topics including:

a) Basics of Sonology

b) FAST & eFAST scans in Patients with polytrauma

c) Aorta Scan for diagnosing Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm and Aortic dissection

d) Point Of Care Ultrasound (POCUS) in ED

e) Identification of Inferior Vena cava and its clinical significance in patients with shock

f) Echo in life support

g) Identification of Pericardial Effusion, pericardial Tamponade & Pneumothorax in ED

h) Identification of Massive Pulmonary Embolism & Right ventricular strain

i) Ultrasound guided Intravenous access

j) Use of ultrasound in DVT

k) Use of ultrasound in Retinal Detachment, Intraocular foreign bodies & Subcutaneous Skin infections, cellulitis & Necrotising fasciitis

l) Right & Left Hypochondriac Sono anatomy & identification of Gallstones

m) Renal Track Sono anatomy & Identification of hydronephrosis in ED

8. Minor Surgical Skills in the ED include:

a) Incision & Drainage of abscesses

b) Wound closure using glue & steri-strips

c) Wound closure with sutures

d) Complex wound repair

e) Management of minor burns

f) De-roofing of burn blisters

g) Nail Trephine

h) Nail Bed repair & Nail Re-implantation
